Homeless Again

I have been busy scrapping in the evening and have a new page to add. It is rather simple but I really like the colours and I have a smile on my face too.
The pic was taken during the McCarty family holiday in the sounds. Ahhh, cocktails on the back of a boat in the middle of nowhere. What could be better.
See if you can manage to read the white writing going round in a circle on the page. I love it. Woo Hoo!
The house settlement went through today, hence my comment of being homeless again. Our belongings are now all packed and sitting in a container waiting to head off to sea.
It was amazing to see just how many boxes all our stuff equated to. Worse to think I have to unpack it all at the other end. Though after 6 weeks of living out of a suitcase again I am sure it will feel like Christmas unwrapping all our stuff.
Currently I am sitting on the floor of mums study/my bedroom typing this. Thanks for long LAN cables so that I can sit in comfort on my bed with a glass of wine.

Hi-dee-hi Campers

Here is the first of my camping pages. Hopefully more to come. As you can probably see by the smiling faces a good time was had by all.
It turned out to be a bit of a scorcher on Good Friday and by the time the tents were finally up a cold beer was very welcome.
The wind came up a fair bit as the day wore on and it was interesting to watch our tents being flattened and then pop up again (at least, we hoped).
It rained on Saturday and by 11am the kids were getting tent fever. In a moment of insanity I suggested going for a swim in the river.
The kids leapt upon this suggestion with great enthusiasm and before I knew it we were in our togs and off to the river. Now you have to remember it was still drizzling, overcast and basically yuck. But off to the river we went.
I was brave and the first one in. It was BLOODY FREEZING!
Eilish got some good pics of various facial expressions which I hope to scrap later. More to follow.

. . . and here I am ! ! !

Maureen has come to the rescue again and has shown me how to set up a blog spot.
So for all of you who don't want to sign up to MySpace please come and visit me here.
I hope to set up a little box on the side where you can leave me a hello.
Do you like my latest scrap page? Connor certainly enjoyed it when Rox and Chris came to stay in January. From the look on his face I think Chris may have had a good time too.
Our house has finally sold here in NZ so now it is time to pack up the family and our belongings and head for the warmer climes of Adelaide.
We are planning a last minute camping trip before moving out of the house. Hopefully I will remember to bring the camera, take it out of its bag and actually use it. More opportunities to scrap coming my way
